Employee and Subcontractor Inductions and Training Matrix

Failing to keep adequate WHS records can lead to significant penalties, fines, or prosecution if an incident happens, as you cannot demonstrate you met your safety obligations. 

Select Employee Inductions and Training Matrix From the Employee or Subcontractor Form and then you can access the Employee Inductions and training matrix for that person.

Employee Training and Inductions Matrix

Company Inductions

This the the blue section at the top of the form. This is where you record when the employee or subcontractor under took your company inductions, Policies and procedures and any other company specific requirements. You can modify  or update this list to suit your specific business requirements. 

Training

This is the second section in brown.  This is where you record any specific training your employee has done. This may be in-house training or training provided by an external Registered Training Authority (RTO)

There are many different training courses prepopulated in the lists. You can also add in any training you want t into the list.  

Safe Operating Procedure (SOP) Training

If an employee has received instruction and training on a Safe Operating Procedure for a process or item of plant, then is should be recorded here. 

Use this form to keep track of all of your employee inductions and training.

PPE Items Supplied

Any Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) issued in the employee section will automatically be added in her. You will just need to select who has assess the employee to ensure they now the correct use and fitment of the PPE. 

Site Inductions

This is where you record any site inductions that the employee or subcontractor has undertaken.:

  1. Company
  2. Site
  3. Induction Date
  4. Expiry Date

Hint

If you enter in any site inductions done, you will be able to search for employees who have been inducted to that company and or site later.
