The Upgrade Process
When you upgrade to a new version the new features are added to your existing data file so you will not loose any of your data.
New SWMS/ JSA Templates
144 new Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) Templates have been added since the release of v4.5. (Standard and Premium versions)
These will be added in to increase your existing library of SWMS templates.

22 new Plant and equipment risk assessments have been added to v4.6 (Standard and Premium versions)

The latest JSEAsy update is finished! Version 4.6 delivers new Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) Templates, Safe Operating Procedures (SOP)s, Plant and Equipment Risk Assessments (PERAs), WHS Forms, Policies, and Procedures – all seamlessly added to your data file. Your software is fully upgraded and ready to help you manage safety compliance with ease.
Identifying a a principal contractor
If you are subcontracting a new tick box has been added to indicate that your client is a principal contractor. Once ticked the client will now be identified as the principal contractor on your SWMS/ JSA report. (Standard and Premium versions)
Code update for building SWMS/ JSA reports
Behind the scenes the code has been updates to supercharge reports for complex and long Safe Work Methos Statements/ Job Safety Analysis reports. (Standard and Premium versions)
New flexibility with letterhead and logo location
(Standard and Premium versions)
We have now added the ability to put your letterhead and logo files anywhere you want, and then let the software know where to look for them.
This is especially beneficial on server environments where you no longer need to grant access the ‘C’ Drive.
New fields have been added to the plant and equipment service and repair log

Service Provider
A new column has been added to track who undertook the service or repair item
Next service Due
A new column has been added to track when the next service is due. This may be by hours, kilometers, miles etc.
Next service Due Date
This field has been modified to show the date that a next service is due. Services are usually due to be undertaken whichever comes first:
- when you reach a certain milestone(hours/ Km) or
- a particular date.
If the service has not been recorded by the due date (or amount of time prior to the due date as nominated in your defaults) a reminder will pop up at start up of the application to remind you that the service is due.
Accident or Injury Report
Existing Form updated (Premium Versions)
Additional fields have been added to track the:
- Injury Details – Nature or type
- Agent of Damage
When you fill out an accident or injury report, it will now be automatically listed in the new WHS Form 89 Accident or Incident Register.
Near Miss/ Dangerous Occurrence Investigation Report
Existing form updated. (Premium Versions)
Tick boxes added to indicate if this report is for a:
- Near Miss or
- Dangerous Occurrence
Attributes of the Near Miss or Dangerous occurrence have been added to the form
When you fill out a near miss or dangerous occurrence report, it will now be automatically listed in the new WHS Form 89 Accident or Incident Register.
Accident or Incident Register
New Form and report (Premium Versions)
This form is automatically populated from accident or injury reports or Near miss/ dangerous occurrence reports.
You can select to view a report for a:
- Calendar year
- Financial Year
- Custom date range
You can view the report or print to paper or a pdf file.
WHS Form 73 Site Induction Checklist

When you upgrade your version of JSEAsy, all of the new features enhancements and templates are added to your data file so you will not lose any of the work and data you have.
Just login to JSEAsy with your username and password and then go to Upgrade versions for JSEAsy
