A potentially dangerous macro has been blocked<\/h1>

This behavior is a security feature introduced by\u00a0Microsoft<\/a><\/span> (active by default since early 2023 in Microsoft 365) designed to prevent malware and ransomware from spreading. When you open a macro-enabled file (.xlsm, .docm, accdr, accdb) that was downloaded from the internet, email, or even some cloud-synced folders (like OneDrive\/SharePoint), Windows adds a “Mark of the Web” (MOTW)<\/p>

If this is happening to JSEAsy navigate to to folder where you have the program file JSEAsy.accdb\u00a0 and right click the file and select properties.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

  1. Close<\/strong> the Program<\/span><\/li>
  2. Locate the file in File Explorer.<\/span><\/li>
  3. Right-click the file and select\u00a0Properties<\/strong>.<\/span><\/li>
  4. In the\u00a0General<\/strong>\u00a0tab, look at the bottom for the\u00a0Security<\/strong>\u00a0section.<\/span><\/li>
  5. Check the box that says\u00a0Unblock<\/strong>.<\/span><\/li>
  6. Click\u00a0Apply<\/strong>\u00a0>\u00a0OK<\/strong>.<\/span><\/li>
  7. Reopen the program<\/span><\/li><\/ol>
