You must have a rescue plan in place before any work commences heights or any work situation where immediate or unrestricted access is not available to remove an injured person should an accident occur.<\/p>\n
Workers are often required to perform their duties while working in an elevated position using a scissor lift or boom lift. There is always the possibility an operator may become injured whilst working at heights or the machine could fail to function properly, requiring a rescue retrieval plan to be executed.<\/p>\n
