WHS- Form 33 \u2013Drugs and Alcohol Policy<\/p>\n

An employer has a legal obligation to address alcohol and other drug issues in the workplace through the \u2018duty of care\u2019 provisions in the WHS and OHS Acts. These provisions require employers to take all reasonable or \u2018practicable\u2019 steps to ensure the health and safety of all workers and any other people who may be affected by the actions of the employer, such as contractors or clients.<\/p>\n
